Product Description
The 'ballsy' artistic creations pictured in this book -- made initially for the Bowling Ball Museum -- were created with two artistic principles in mind: interaction and fun! The artist's house and studio is named 'Whimzey' due to its fantasy-like exterior decor. Bright hues dance on every surface of which no two are the same, gingerbread and artwork adorn exterior surfaces, and the yard is a 'final playground' for discarded bowling balls (and lots of other art pieces). Many bowling balls have a shiny, colourful essence to them, but when they first started using bowling balls as landscape accessories, Todd and Kiaralinda seemed to be racking up a lot of black orbs. Well, at their house where 'if you stand still long enough, you'll get painted', it seemed the obvious solution to paint the black orbs and design colourful bowling balls. The neighbourhood kids got a kick out of this and were invited to join in. The 'Artball' was born!
