"The Pictorial Princess"

Painting tattoos that actually look like tattoos is always an interesting project. For one thing, the tattoo must follow the light, shade, and perspective of the figure they appear upon. Instead of the wet blending used in rendering the figure, I use a drybrush method to effect what a tattooist refers to as whipshading or feathering.
