"Voodoo Mysteries"
A generic or "cover-all-the-bases" banner containing both sex and mysticism, two key ingredients that'll sell almost anything.
What act does it specifically refer to in the show? Anything involving an exotic looking female. Should a customer point to the
banner and inquire, "-Where was this one?", you'd simply say, "Oh, that was the girl that did such-and-such." Assuming your
Miss Such and Such didn't look too hot, you might substitute, "-It only intends to represent the type of show we present."

"World of Wonders"
Yet another "gaff" banner, as was the case with "Cavalcade of Oddities." In recent years, some of the people represented
in these renderings did exist inside of the show in photographic form or as wax effigies.

"Betty Lou Williams & Two Headed Princess"
Like my painting, I don't usually replicate my writing either. Here, I'll make an exception. I've often said in interviews
and lectures that, in working with human oddities, you only initially viewed their deformity and then moved on, absorbing
their personality. Betty Lou Williams had a beauty and dignity about her that only a few people in my life possessed - a
lovely, soft-spoken lady.
The Two-Headed Princess was of course sheer mythology - but you must admit I gave her a swinging body in this rendering.

"Creepy Creatures & Ocean Monsters"
There are eight of these double pictorial banners shown within this "art gallery" section. The original set of
banners, thirteen in all, were done for Ward Hall and C.M. Christ and fronted their "museum" show. The set, in
its entirety, was purchased by a private collector several years ago and was replaced by a semi-trailer mounted
panel front, which I also painted.
