When given the opportunity to work with Johnny Meah, the Czar of Bizarre, GMD Studios was excited about the possibilities of creating a web site that captured the same wonder and magic as Johnny's art. We hope that we've achieved that goal and have created a fun place for you to visit.

We also hope that the site captures some of Johnny's kind and humorous spirit. With his writings and other contributions, we feel that this is much more than just a presentation of Johnny's art. It's also a glimpse into his life and personality, as an artist and sideshow performer. We'll save Johnny the embarrassment of calling him a living legend (he probably wouldn't like that any more than he likes to be called The Great). Instead, we'll just say that Johnny is a very talented and unique artist, and it's our pleasure to help present him and his work to you.

GMD Studios has worked (and is working) on a number of other interesting projects. We are a groundbreaking new media production firm based in Orlando, Florida (with additional operations in New York City and Research Triangle, North Carolina). Since our founding in 1994, we've been engaged in a number of areas of Internet and media production, with an emphasis on the experimental nature of the Web and what it means for independent media producers.
