If you are looking to spice up your humble abode (or work space) with an original Johnny Meah banner or artwork, you've come to the right place! Since commissioning art is a mystery to many folks, here then is a little information you should know before beginning the process.

Banners can range in size from 4' X 4' all the way up to whatever size you like. Anything less than 4' X 4' doesn't resemble a true banner.

If you don't have that kind of wall space, Johnny does a variety of other forms of art - he has painted on wood, canvas, plates, furniture, bowling balls, you name it.

The vast majority of people leave the actual design and content of the banner up to Johnny (he is, after all, the Czar of Bizarre). Sometimes people have a specific subject matter or name in mind - "I want a fire eater banner," "I want a fat person banner named Jolly Joe," etc.

Time frame - new commissions can take as long as six months before delivery due to the amount of work involved, as well as Johnny's schedule. It could happen faster, it all depends on scheduling and the complexity of the work.

Price range - As of August, 2002, Johnny's work commands between $2,000 - $3,500, with the variance due to content, size, and detail. It may be a little less, maybe a little more, but this gives you an idea of the ballpark. Remember, this is for an original work of art, not a print or lithograph. 50% of the price will be required to start the work and 50% on completion.
